COVID-19 RRT Response Coin
The COVID-19 RRT Response Coin is a hi-relief (3D), brass, 2" (51mm), coin with inlaid enamel paint and a unique design that represents the chronology of the response.
The Symbol in red on the front represents the origin, the boat represents a long distance of travel and the medical tent speaks to treatment.
On the back we see the great American Eagle releasing his pal the the Dragon to circle the globe snatching up the virus out of the air. Chinese dragons traditionally symbolize potent and auspicious powers, particularly control over water, rainfall, hurricane, and floods. The dragon is also a symbol of power, strength, and good luck.

***NOTE***
As you can see the actual coin was altered from the original artwork. That was due to the CCP getting involved at the factory and the factory stating to us that it was considered offensive to use the "Wuhan City Symbol" on the coin and they didn't want us to use the dragon either. But as we explained to them the dragon is a Chinese symbol of strength and in this sense is going after the virus and defending the humans. They agreed and finally allowed the process to continue. This is why it took so long for it to be delivered and in addition, slowed down the production of several of our coins. But they are happy we are back up to speed and there are more coins on hand for reorder.
